Minimarket is a label based in Stockholm and designed by the three sisters Sofie, Pernilla and Jennifer Elvestedt. The trio was awarded by Swedish Elle as the best newcomer of the year in 2007 and designer of the year in 2010.

In February the label presented its AW12 collection at Stockholm Fashion Week. This collection is inspired by magic and illusions. Green and orange are the dominant colors and are combined with a lot of layering and fabrics like meshed sequins, silk and leather.

Egypt was the inspiration of the SS12 collection Isis, which we can find in the stores now. Great Patterns, high waist pants, plateau shoes and sandals are part of the minimarket way of dressing this summer.

Minimarket is sold nearly all over the world - from retailers in NY to Tokyo, they are present at all fashion capitals. On the homepage you will find an overview of stores which sell the brand.

Besides the different stores minimarket has an online shop, which was re-launched in 2011. Here fans of the label can find pieces of the current collection, which are shipped from Stockholm to all over the world.

The design philosophy is based on using opposites for perfect balance. It’s proper contra sensual, comfortable combined with extravagant. The three sisters all vary widely in taste and style and it’s the inspiration in finding a unifying path in design that inspires the group.
